Course overview

The aim of the course is to offer provision for students studying at our affiliated colleges in India and Pakistan who wish to follow a sea-going career. The first phase of the course is at an overseas college and thereafter at GCNS. Successful attainment of all elements of the course will give full exemptions for MCA examination academic subjects. Progression to Second Engineer Officer and then to Chief Engineer Officer is achieved after gaining the appropriate sea time, experience and MCA certificates of competency. The affiliated colleges are AMET, BP Maritime, MTI, Tolani and VELS.
