Course overview
The aim of the training at this level is to maintain safe navigation through the use of radar and ARPA and modern navigation systems to assist command decision-making and the application of effective bridge team management principles and procedures.

The student will have gained at least 12 months experience at sea as a certificated watchkeeping officer prior to undertaking the simulator exercises. Candidates will be proficient in basic procedures including passage planning, parallel indexing and radar plotting
