Higher National Diploma. SCQF Credit Level 7.

Course overview

The course provides a wide variety of media subjects that prepare students for higher education and employment. The media industry is looking for multi-skilled staff who are well rounded in all areas of the media. Students can progress to the 2nd year of the HND Communication with media or to 2nd year university.

Students are continually assessed and are given a graded unit project. Staff delivering the course have a wide variety of media experience which provides opportunities for media guest speakers, visits and professional workshops.

Highers
Entry by Personal Interview and 1 Higher Grade or an appropriate group of SQA units including Communication 4 or its equivalent
