Course overview

This 2 year part-time course is exciting and challenging and allows the learner to study at HN level, on a part-time basis. It is open to those who have qualifications at standard grade level or other relevant experience. The course includes: Body Massage, Facial Treatments, Employment Experience, Thalgo, Darphin and Dermalogica Training, Face and Body Electrotherapy. Career opportunities include, working in a Salon, Spa, Mobile Beauty Therapy or Self employment.

Employment as Beauty Therapist in a clinic, health spa, cruise ship etc. or self employed

Course entry qualifications

Highers
One Higher Grade pass, NQ/SVQ Beauty Care or qualifications gained through other examining bodies, but comparable with the above.
Other
Candidates aged 21 and over may be admitted without the normal entry qualifications at the discretion of the course team and subject to a personal interview.
