School of Social and Community Studies

The School of Social & Community Studies offers a variety of courses aimed at the diverse student population, with the ethos of the School being one of opportunity and inclusion. Our core mainstream courses provide for a wide range of student needs and extends from specialist community programmes to labour market responsive Social Care courses.
Learners can access SEN and ESP programmes aimed at meeting the needs of those with additional educational needs. We offer classes for those wishing to develop their literacy skills and run a range of community programmes in conjunction with various partnership agencies with a focus on core skills and personal development.
